How Does Nematac Work?
- EPN (Entomopathogenic Nematodes) enter the insect’s body through the mouth or natural openings.
- After penetration, within 2–3 hours, EPN releases its symbiotic bacteria into the hemolymph through the mouth and anus.
- The bacteria released into the hemolymph multiply rapidly.
- Within 24–36 hours after penetration, the insect dies from septicemia. Only 3 infective juveniles (IJs) are sufficient to cause septicemia.
- During this process, the life cycle of the IJ continues. After two or three generations, the IJs emerge from the dead insect (cadaver) and seek new hosts.
Preparation for Application
- Remove the product from the refrigerator 20–25 minutes before application.
- Mix the entire contents of the package in a bucket with sufficient water.
- Stir continuously for at least 5 minutes until a completely homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- Fill the spray tank halfway with the required amount of water, then pour in the prepared biological mixture.
- Add the remaining water to reach the total volume and mix again.
- The prepared solution must be used immediately without waiting.
